Look who's eating!!

Karrigan tried rice cereal for the first time today and loved it! I let her chew on the spoon during the day to get used to it then we fed her after we carved pumpkins when Austin got home.

Someone loves her food! She is 4 months and 1 week old.

Day at PCMC with Aidan

I have known Aidan a long time. His parents lived in our ward for a short while when Aidan was nursery age. Since then I have stayed in close contact with him and his family. They now have 3 boys including Aidan and still live in Rigby. However each of the boys have a genetic disability, on top of this Aidan was officially diagnosed this weekend with type 1 diabetes. He is a brave 8 year old who's baptism I was able to witness earlier this year. Since we live in Utah I don't get to see them as often but I do get the chance to spend time with them when they come down to their at Primary Children's Medical Center. I gave him a pair of "Cars" slippers to stay comfy in at the hospital, he had some fun racing them on his hands :)

Library trip

Karrigan and I took a walk down to the library today, it takes about 15 mins to walk there from our house. They have this nice stained glass window in the back of the library, it is beautiful!. We were excited to find out that library cards are free since we live in the city. Karrigan loves looking at the pictures in books. Even though we probably won't be checking any books out for her this year they do story time 3 days a week, I think that might be a fun winter activity to get out of the house.

The Haunted Swing

Austin's friend that made our wedding video produced a movie called "The Haunted Swing" it is based off a story in Rexburg. We left work early Friday the 18th to hurry down to the movie premier at 9pm that night. We dropped off Karrigan at my parents, the movie was really good for a student producer, it was fun to see what potential Austins friends have. His friend Dan that produced the movie is part of their business called DNA Visual Studios. (Dan. Nial, Austin). Nial is one of the best illustrators at BYU-Idaho and made the movie posters for the movie. Great job guys! After the movie they had a meet the crew and questions and answer period. They sold out all three shows that opening night in Rexburg.

Karrigan trying to wiggle

Once again this was early one morning, she seems to do her best work first thing in the morning. I caught her trying to reach the colorful games. She however didn't get very far.

Karrigan singing

I thought this was the funniest thing ever. This was about 8am before her first bottle, she woke up pretty happy!
