Karrigan's first Christmas

Christmas day! Karrigan woke up about 7:30 so we all woke up to go up stairs. Karrigan got a little scared with all the noise and presents she wasn't really too interested in opening anything. Karrigan got some cute new clothes and toys! After opening presents we cleaned up and had crepes! Then we went to Austins uncle Lane's house to see them and Grandma Zelda who was down visiting. Afterwards we came back and had Christmas dinner at Grandmas. We always have the same traditional dinner of potatoes and gravy and ham and turkey and yummy salads! Brooks and Riley and Kinzie came for dinner which was a blast seeing them! After dinner we had ice cream cake roll my favorite! and Grandma and Grandpa passed out presents. We got a tin of Grandma B's Christmas treats! I love turtles! and honey for food storage!  My mom had a winter penguin cake made for me! Red Velvet, I loved it, I normally don't have my own birthday cake since we always have ice cream cake roll. After Grandmas we all went to my dads school South Fork and played in the gym. I thought I had some pictures, but I can't find any. We played giant twister, human fuzzball, lacrosse and  bean bag toss. It was a lot of fun! 

Christmas Eve

Every year for Christmas Eve we get together with family. This year we got to spend it with my family. My families traditions are that on Christmas Eve we all get together and have loads of fun. We usually start out with food (our favorite) each year is usually different. This year we did Zupas where we had yummy soup, and salads and a chocolate dipped strawberry! Next on the list is the Nativity, each year the kids act it out, Jan made the cute costumes! Livvie was the star, Erin and Karrigan the inn keepers, Alli and Celia the wise men, Tate and Cody the shepherds, Karlie Jo was Mary, nad Easton was Joseph. Narrator Jan and Chorister for the song afterwards Kassie. After the Nativity comes the tradition of Christmas Eve Pjs. Afterwards we played charades and watched Livvie show off her dance moves. 

Going to see Great Grandma Howard

Christmas Eve we drove up to Chester to see Grandma Howard. She still lives in the same house where my dad grew up in Chester, it is a cute log home that once held 10 children, plus 2 parents! it isn't very big but the 2 story home served its purpose. 

Playing with Dad FHE Fun

Karrigan LOVES spending time with her daddy, they are BFF's! She always smiles extra big for him, and he can always find the big giggles. And look how close she is to crawling!
