Splash Park!
Today we decided to enjoy the hot sun at Pioneer Splash Park in Provo, down by Austin's work. Karrigan melts in the sun playing in the backyard but she loved getting her toes wet here and watching all the other kids! She didn't really run in the jet streams but hopefully next year! One time all the water turned off for a minute so she ran real fast out into the middle and started splashing in the puddles, then the water turned back on! and she couldn't figure out how to escape and just started screaming. She's pretty funny.
Letters from Aidan
Letter from Aidan! Aidan loves to color, but because of his seizers he has a hard time controlling his hands and focusing long enough to finish the picture. Despite all his trials he still sent me a picture! This means the world to me, we used to color all the time when he was little. Knowing that his coloring days are limited I was very happy to have him think of me and send me a beautiful picture that took time and effort!
Harvest!
Look at that beautiful tomato! Have you ever seen anything so red and shiny? We didn't put enough effort into our garden this year but we did get tomatoes, peas, strawberries, and very mini carrots. The garden was still a lot of fun and we got some good ideas for next year, I think karrigan enjoyed playing in the dirt the most.
Birthday Girl!
This cute little girl is 1!!! I can't believe it! Time has flown by! She has such a cute personality and is so very smart! She understands so much more then I expected a 1 year old to understand. My parents and Erin came up to celebrate her birthday. For Breakfast we took her out to kneaders, they have the best french toast! I made her a Frozen tutu to dress up in, she loves necklaces! and made her a cute shirt to match. She loved kicking around all the balloons and practicing throwing them around. The was great! Weather was amazing, we let her eat her cake outsides so we would have less of a mess to clean up. We facetimed Grandma and Grandpa Lovell to watch her eat part of her cake and open presents. My parents got her that cute green slide which she figured out pretty fast and loves. She also got clothes, books, and a cute little stroller trike that eventually when her legs are long enough she can pedal herself and we can take the stroller handle bars off. It was fun to celebrate her big day and we look forward to having several more! Love you Karrigan so much! We are so proud to call you our daughter, you are smart and creative and you can do anything in life that you put your mind to!
